On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the pilgrimage of Saint Anthony Mary Claret to the Royal Monastery of Santa María de Guadalupe We are offering a lecture by Fr. Carlos Sánchez Miranda, CMF (Director of the CESC).
A cordial greeting to everyone. First of all, I want to express my gratitude to the Royal Association of Knights of Santa María de Guadalupe for the invitation to the Claretian Missionaries to participate in this LXXXVIII event of Hispanic Heritage on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the pilgrimage of Saint Anthony Mary Claret to this Royal Monastery.

Mr. Xavier Cateura gave a lecture entitled “Josep Xifré, an illustrious son of Vic, entrepreneur of a great work” in the Hall of the Column of Vic Town Hall, where a portrait of Father Xifré as illustrious son of the City is displayed. This conference was delivered on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 6:30 pm in the presence of the Bishop of Vic, the Superior General of the Congregation, the Major Superiors or their representatives of all Claretian organizations in Europe, members of the Claretian Family , The Tourism and Commerce Counsellor of the City of Vic and other interested people.
We offer to all Claretian researchers the Index of Blessed Father Claret. As you all know, this work written by Fr. Cristóbal Fernández is the most complete and best documented biography of Father Claret. Therefore, it is important to have this index, both thematic and onomastic, to take advantage of its rich content. In this way, we continue to make available, on the CESC website, the necessary resources for the research on Claret’s life and work.
